Born in Cesena, Italy, in 1993, Lorenzo Savadori was the 2008 Italian and European 125 GP champion with Aprilia. In the same season, he debuted in the World 125cc series as a wildcard in three races. In 2007, he was runner-up in the Red Bull Rookies Cup, and in 2009 he took part in the World 125cc Championships.
