Running back Donovan Edwards, whose production was inconsistent at Michigan, had a strong showing at the combine. His 23 reps on the bench press (225 pounds) were the most of any running back this year. The NFL posted a video of Edwards “making quick work of the Duce Staley drill.”

Edwards finished his Michigan career with 2,251 yards rushing, 797 yards receiving and 23 total touchdowns before preparing for April’s NFL Draft. Edwards was coy when asked about meeting with various teams while at the combine. “Any team that drafts me will be a dream come true,” he said.

Through the first two days of NFL Scouting Combine interviews, five Michigan players have taken to the podium. Only one, EDGE Josaiah Stewart, will actually do any of the Combine workout drills. The other four--DT Mason Graham, CB Will Johnson, DT Kenneth Grant and TE Colston Loveland--are all out from the drills with various injuries.
