Saturday morning begins overcast and dry with seasonably cold conditions across the region. High pressure is in place to our northeast and is slowly retreating to the east ahead of an approaching area of low pressure from the southwest that will bring widespread precipitation to all of Western Pennsylvania beginning this afternoon and lasting until after midnight.

A report from the National Weather Service was issued on Saturday at 8:02 a.m. for freezing rain until 9:30 a.m. for Greene County.
