The longest-running scripted primetime series in American TV history will take a break in February and March. In The Simpsons ‘ place, Fox will air the second longest-running animated series on the network, Family Guy. That show’s 23rd season will premiere at 8 p.m. Feb. 16, kicking off a somewhat revamped animation block.

Family Guy will premiere Season 23 in February on Fox along with Grimsburg, The Great Noth, Krapopolis and The Simpsons.

But now the wait will be over soon as Family Guy is now confirmed to be returning for new episodes on Sunday, February 16th on FOX (with the episodes then being available to stream with Hulu the next day).

Family Guy, Grimsburg, The Great North and Krapopolis are set to return Sunday, Feb. 16 starting with Season 23 of Family Guy at 8 pm; Season 2 of Grimsbur g at 8:30 pm, Season 5 of The Great North at 9 pm, followed by new episodes of Krapopolis at 9:30 pm.

The Simpsons are being couched for a limited time to make room for the Griffins. Beginning Sunday, Feb. 16, Family Guy will return for Season 23 and inherit The Simpsons’ 8 pm time slot. It will be followed by the premieres of Grimsburg (Season 2) and The Great North (Season 5),
