Bangladesh has objected to a speech that its ousted prime minister Sheikh Hasina made from India and asked New Delhi to stop her making "fabricated" comments, its foreign ministry said on Friday.

The government of Bangladesh has sought the extradition of former Bangladesh prime minister Sheikh Hasina for offences allegedly committed before she arrived in India, the government informed Parliament on Thursday.

Bangladesh's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the statements by Sheikh Hasina are “instigating instability in Bangladesh”.
