The Golden State Warriors got crushed at home by the Phoenix Suns on Friday, losing 130-105 to fall to 24-24 on the season. The Warriors sit in 11th place in the West with the NBA trade deadline less than a week away, and it is clear moves must be made to turn their season around.

The Warriors were much more balanced, as Andrew Wiggins led the way with 27 points and superstar Steph Curry contributed 21 on 5-10 shooting from deep. Following the game, Curry revealed what was successful for them and how they were able to pull out a huge win over the top team in the conference.

Steph Curry on the trade deadline choices ahead for the Warriors: “It’s not for me to make those decisions. I want to win. So whatever it means to do that.”

Curry’s injury means the Warriors will be without their three best players in Curry, Draymond Green and Jonathan Kuminga. Green won’t play until next week, while Kuminga won’t return before the Feb. 6 trade deadline from the significant ankle injury he suffered on Jan. 4.
