A new wildfire was reported today at 4:25 a.m. in Los Angeles County. The wildfire has been burning on private land. There is currently no information about the containment efforts for the fire and its cause remains undetermined.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency, who have established centers across Los Angeles County to aid victims through the recovery process, have offered guidance on how important proof of identify documents can be replaced if lost in the wildfires.

With inventory reduced and fire risk increased, both home prices and insurance rates could rise in Southern California.
