Pagano was on John Harbaugh's first Ravens staff in 2008 and stayed with Baltimore until he was hired by the Colts

The Ravens' John Harbaugh lured former Colts coach Chuck Pagano out of a four-year retirement to join his staff as a senior secondary coach in an effort to improve Baltimore's inconsistent pass defense.

For some of those teams, that will involve finding new head coaches and/or General Managers. Three teams fired their head coaches during the season and two more have been dispatched as of 9 a.m. ET on January 6.

As the New England Patriots and Mike Vrabel continue to build out their staff, they're bringing in a former NFL head coach to round out the offense. According to ESPN's Mike Reiss, New England is set to hire Doug Marrone—his position is yet to be determined.

With the recent hirings of Aaron Glenn and Mike Vrabel, the NFL now has five coaches who once played for the teams they're now leading.
