Newcastle United fell to a 2-1 defeat against Fulham on Saturday afternoon. Newcastle eventually took the lead through Jacob Murphy after a first-half in which chances were few and far between. Murphy popped up at the far post to score after Anthony Gordon ’s deflected cross in the 37th minute.
