The Grand Ole Opry hits the century mark this year, and NBC is celebrating by bringing the radio fixture to TV screens nationwide. An all-star concert special called Opry 100: A Live Celebration is coming to NBC and Peacock on March 19 from 8-11 p.m. ET.

Fifteen living CMA or ACM Entertainers of the Year are not members of the Grand Ole Opry, and a few of them barely recognize the vaunted stage. George Strait, Kenny Chesney and Willie Nelson are three legends who rarely play the Grand Ole Opry. Why?

A Live Celebration” in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Grand Ole Opry. Blake Shelton will host the special live from the iconic country music venue. Along with Shelton, the special will feature performances from Opry members Ashley McBryde,

Vince Gill, Garth Brooks, Reba McEntire and Carrie Underwood will perform along with Shelton during the NBC-televised special.

The three-hour show will take place over two locations: The Grand Ole Opry House, which has been the Opry’s home since 1974; and the Ryman Auditorium, the original home of the Opry’s shows, and which still hosts some winter performances today.
