If the Philadelphia Eagles have dreams and aspirations about repeating as Super Bowl champions, they are going to need to hit on a few reclamation projects, just like they did a season ago with free-agent castoffs like Mekhi Becton and Zack Baun.

At one point in his NFL career, there was a thought that Mekhi Becton would never be able to match the expectations put on him during his rookie season as a first-round pick, but that he may not play another down in the NFL again.

It also makes it more difficult for the Eagles to keep their other three top pending free agents in defensive linemen Milt Williams and Josh Sweat, and right guard Mekhi Becton. Free agency begins Monday at noon, with deals official beginning Wednesday at 4 p.m.
