After watching their reshaped pitching staff get ravaged by injuries last year, the Dodgers went into this offseason looking to bolster their pitching options across the board.

Yates joins a refurbished bullpen for the World Series champions, who finalized a four-year, $72 million contract with Tanner Scott last week.

Yates, whose 1.17 ERA was second only to Cleveland closer Emmanuel Clase (0.61) among relievers with at least 50 innings of work last season. The Dodgers designate Ryan Brasier for assignment.
