An Ohio lawmaker introduced a bill that would raise adult-use marijuana sales taxes, limit home grows and prohibit social equity licenses.

A new bill would make sweeping changes to how Ohio regulates recreational cannabis—including halving the number of home grow plants and eliminating all the social equity programs.

Senate Bill 56 increases the excise tax on adult-use marijuana to 15% and makes other major changes to the voter-approved law.
