Kilauea’s ongoing summit eruption resumed oozing lava on the Halemaumau crater floor this morning, Hawaiian Volcano Observatory scientists said.
The eruption began Dec. 23 in a crater at the summit of Kilauea, one of the world’s most active volcanoes. Experts say the fountains are only expected to get bigger.
