A man from Austin was one of the passengers on the Delta Airlines flight that crashed upside down in Toronto, Canada and he is suing the airlines. Our sister station in Austin spoke with the aviation lawyer representing him and reporter Angela Shen has more details on the lawsuit.

Two passengers have filed federal lawsuits following the crash landing of Flight 4919, which flew from Minneapolis to Toronto.

The proposal, known as Senate Bill 22, is one of Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick’s priority bills in the 89th Regular Legislative Session. If passed, it would mark a major shift for the Texas film industry, potentially making the state a top destination for filmmakers nationwide.
