An Arsenal expert has revealed an “even more worrying” situation for head coach Mikel Arteta to deal with after Gabriel Magalhaes was forced off vs Fulham. The Gunners had their first game after the international break on Tuesday night as they beat Premier League rivals Fulham 2-1 at the Emirates.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta resisted the urge to start the returning Bukayo Saka against Fulham on Tuesday night, instead naming the fit-again winger on the bench. Saka had sat out Arsenal's previous 12 Premier League fixtures with a torn hamstring.

Mikel Arteta may have to do without Jurrien Timber for the foreseeable future. The Arsenal manager admitted that the full-back would be assessed in the next few days after going off with a knee injury during the 2-1 win over Fulham on Tuesday night.
