Actor Steve Carell is sending Southern California high school students affected by the devasting wildfires in Los Angeles to the prom for free. The “Office” actor and comedian said Tuesday in an Instagram video that he was working with the Alice's Kids charity to pay for prom for seniors at six high schools in Pasadena.

Steve Carell is helping those impacted by the Los Angeles wildfires. On Tuesday, a video displayed at six high school assemblies in Altadena, California, showed Carell explaining how he partnered with a charity that will cover the cost of prom tickets for the community that was affected by the devastating wildfires earlier this year.

Steve Carell is making sure Altadena-based high school seniors will make it to their prom after the community was devastated by the Eaton wildfire in January.
