The Minnesota Vikings have made a trade in the 2025 NFL Draft, with their trade partner being the Houston Texans. The trade has the Vikings sending their third-round pick, #97, as well as the sixth-round pick they acquired from San Francisco in the Jordan Mason trade to the Texans.

The Houston Texans have their potential franchise left tackle with the former All-Big Ten name from Minnesota.

The Houston Texans selected Minnesota OT Aireontae Ersery with the No. 48 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft. Aireronte Ersery is a three-year starter at left tackle inside Minnesota's balanced, zone-based run scheme. Ersery has a well-rounded, lean build with long limbs, good play strength and solid athletic ability.
