Beal has been upgraded from questionable to available Tuesday despite dealing with a nagging calf issue. Beal is scorching the nets from beyond the arc as of late, converting 47.5 percent of his 4.0 three-point attempts per contest across his last 10 outings.
Phoenix is still struggling, so Saturday Coach Bud moved Beal back into the starting lineup and the result was him dropping 25 points — with the Suns’ big three of Beal, Kevin Durant and Devin Booker combining to score 81 — in a win over the Chicago Bulls, 121-117, snapping a two-game Phoenix losing streak.
This is the first Suns-Bulls matchup this season. They will meet again March 19 in Phoenix. Phoenix continues its road trip Sunday at Toronto for a 4 p.m. game Sunday before concluding it Tuesday at Memphis.
