Met Office issues yellow weather warning for rain
A yellow weather warning for heavy rain with a risk of localised flooding has been issued by the Met Office. The warning is in place for Essex, Northamptonshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. It comes into force between 08:00 GMT on Sunday until 06:00 on Monday.

Storm Éowyn red warning issued by Met Office with 100mph winds forecast
Dangerous conditions are expected with the top level red warning for wind issued for all of Ireland and parts of Scotland across Friday morning. The Met Office has issued weather warnings across the UK, but the worst of Storm Éowyn is expected to strike across the island of Ireland from early on Friday.

Storm Eowyn to bring 90mph winds as Met Office issue danger to life weather warning
Storm Éowyn is forecast to make landfall in Ireland late on Thursday before moving on to the rest of the UK on Friday according to Met Office models. The storm will bring gusts of 80mph to coastal areas and 60mph inland with potential for a danger to life caused by flying debris.
