Two men were found dead in a Shelby County home hours after a standoff began with shots fired early Tuesday. A 48-year-old was found dead from a gunshot wound in a bed. His father, who was the subject of the initial response to the home, was dead in a bathtub. Sheriff John Samaniego said it appears he had been dead for months.
