The "Bob Does Sports" crew is just one of the many golf influencers roaming around at the WM Phoenix Open this week. Frankie Borelli joined Barstool Sports’ "Fore Play Golf" channel about five years ago and said the PGA Tour’s reception of their channel has changed significantly.

The Phoenix Open’s famously booze-soaked 16th hole is one of the most unique spectacles in golf, where the normally gentile sport lets loose with stadium-style seating, deafening music and an enthusiastic announcer introducing players in a scene that’s more WWE than PGA Tour.

Tournament organizers have adjusted their policies and the grounds to handle huge crowds. "There's no way it's going to be worse."

Thomas Detry nearly aced the par-3 16th hole and shot a 7-under 64 in the second round to take a two-shot lead lead in the Phoenix Open on Friday. Detry had eight birdies and a bogey to reach 12 under on another day of perfect conditions at TPC Sawgrass.
