Ariana Grande sang “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” and Cynthia Erivo sang Diana Ross' “Home” to kick off the 97th Academy Awards in a tribute to Los Angeles following wildfires that devastated the Southern California metropolis.

Queen Latifah, Doja Cat, Blackpink member and "The White Lotus" cast member Lisa and British singer Raye will take the stage at later points in the telecast. It's not yet clear what they'll sing, though it won't be any of the best original song contenders from "Emilia Pérez"("El Mal" and "Mi Camino"),

Oscars opened on a high note (literally), with a medley of songs from Wizard of Oz-based films performed by the stars of Wicked, Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday (March 2) night.
