Depending on weather and clouds, rocket launches from Kennedy Space Center or Cape Canaveral can be seen from Daytona Beach to Melbourne to Vero Beach

A Falcon 9 rocket on the Starlink 12-9 mission carrying 21 Starlink satellites is aiming for liftoff at 1:52 p.m. from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station’s Space Launch Complex 40 during a launch window that runs through 5:37 p.m. Backup windows are available on Saturday beginning at 1:23 p.m.

The company plans to send its Falcon 9 rocket on a mission to deliver 21 new Starlink satellites into low-earth orbit. The satellites are used to expand Starlink’s global high-speed internet network. SpaceX said 13 will have direct-to-cell capabilities.
