A 14-year-old boy has been charged in connection with the death of Glasgow teenager Amen Teklay. The 15-year-old died in the street last Wednesday after being found injured following a violent incident in the city's St George's Cross area. Amen's friends will hold a vigil later as a police investigation continues into his murder.

On Sunday, police confirmed a 14-year-old boy has been arrested and charged in connection with Amen’s death. He is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday. A 15-year-old boy has also been arrested in connection with Amen’s death and enquiries are continuing. A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
