PCH and Pacific Palisades are reopening to the public. Some say it’s too soon
Pacific Coast Highway and the Pacific Palisades neighborhood are reopening to the public this weekend despite concerns from some local residents and officials who fear it’s too soon to allow wide access to the fire-damaged area.
PCH partially reopening on Sunday morning following Palisades Fire
The Pacific Coast Highway will be partially reopened this Sunday morning for the first time since the Palisades Fire. Beginning Feb. 2 at 8 a.m., essential traffic can use one lane in each direction. While the Los Angeles Police Department will not hand out re-entry passes, National Guard troops will remain in many areas.
