Linda Grizzle is splitting a $167.3 million winnings with her son, Shannon Farthing, both of Georgetown. Farthing bought a $2 Powerball ticket for last Saturday night’s drawing. Mother and son came to the Kentucky Lottery on Monday to present the winning ticket purchased at Clark’s Pump N Shop at 480 Connector Road.

A winning Powerball lottery ticket — with winnings amounting to $167.3 million — broke the record in Kentucky for the largest jackpot in the state's history, CBS affiliate WLKY reported. The now second-largest jackpot in Kentucky came 16 years prior.
