Captain America star Chris Evans has said he isn't returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Avengers Doomsday or any other film, despite reports to the contrary. Evans told Esquire that a report from Deadline,

"That's not true, though. This always happens. I mean, it happens every couple of years -- ever since Endgame. I've just stopped responding to it," Evans said about rumours of his possible return on MCU.

However, this wouldn't be the first time an actor has lied about not making a grand superhero return. Remember Andrew Garfield's surprise appearance in 'Spider-Man: No Way Home'?

Marvel's former Captain America is the latest Avenger to deny any further return to the franchise, seemingly an obligatory claim at this point.

Chris Evans is known for playing Steve Rogers aka Captain America in Marvel Cinematic Universe. In the latest interview, Chris revealed if he would be returning to MCU.

In an interview with Esquire, Mackie stated he was unaware of Evans’ return and had spoken to him weeks prior, during which Evans claimed to be “happily retired” from Marvel. Mackie only learned of the report when his manager informed him, and he confirmed he has not seen a script for the film.

The Wrap reported that Chris Evans had accepted The World’s Most Predictable Job Offer, i.e., a return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, where everybody likes him, and nobody makes him hack computers to stop snow witches from murdering Santa Claus or whatever.
