Almost a year after the announcement of his decision to join Ferrari, Lewis Hamilton finally got to drive one of the Italian team's F1 cars for the first time on Wednesday

Ferrari’s rollout of Lewis Hamilton as a driver for their Formula 1 team continues. Earlier this week the team shared images of Hamilton’s first day on the job, as he met with senior leadership at the team’s factory.

Hamilton turned his first laps for Scuderia Ferrari F1 team in a test session alongside new teammate Charles Leclerc on a damp Fiorano track at foggy Maranello, Italy, on Wednesday. It was the first on-track action for the team in 2025.
