Illinois men’s basketball has its second transfer portal pickup of the 2025 offseason. California transfer Andrej Stojakovic committed to the Illini on Monday. Stojakovic comes to Champaign after one season with Cal and one season with Stanford.

Andrej Stojakovic announced he's joining Illinois in the transfer portal. He chose the Fighting Illini over a final three that also included North Carolina and Stanford. Stojakovic started his college career at Stanford, then went to Cal before choosing to transfer again and landing at Illinois.

The Illini finished 22-13 overall last season, finishing seventh in the Big Ten at 12-8. Head coach Brad Underwood's squad qualified for the NCAA tournament as a No. 6 seed in the Midwest Region and defeated Xavier before falling to Kentucky in the second round.
