The first look at Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow has arrived - and filming has finally begun.

DC Studios co-head James Gunn is celebrating the beginning of filming of Supergirl, which stars Milly Alcock in the titled role. The filmmaker took to social media to share a teaser photo of Alcock as Kara Zor-El as filming starts on the superhero movie.

Woman of Tomorrow photo, previewing the upcoming DC Universe movie while also revealing the logo that Supergirl will be using. The new image comes from Gunn, who shared the image on social media to celebrate the film’s official production start.

We’re a little over six months away from the film side of the DC Universe getting underway with James Gunn’s Superman, and the following summer, Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow will follow in its footsteps on the big screen.
