Parvesh Verma of BJP has defeated AAP national convenor and former Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal in the New Delhi assembly constituency.

Arvind Kejriwal congratulated the BJP on their victory and expressed hope that they would fulfill all the promises that earned them the people's votes.
