Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) secured 22 seats in Delhi’s Assembly Elections 2025, forming an opposition for the State’s government. Here is a list of 22 AAP candidates who won the Delhi Election despite the party’s overall loss.

Aaley Mohammed Iqbal of AAP has won the Matia Mahal Vidhan Sabha constituency in Delhi Assembly election 2025, defeating Deepti Indora of BJP.

The 10 seats that the party had won with the highest victory margins in 2020 were Matia Mahal, Sultanpur Majra, Seemapuri, Burari, Chandni Chowk, Sangam Vihar, Okhla, Ballimaran, Karol Bagh, and Seelampur.

While the BJP has won 48 out of 70 assembly seats, AAP has secured 22 seats in Delhi. The Arvind Kejriwal-led party also lost key bastions including New Delhi, Jangpura and Greater Kailash
