Police arrested a teen after a local high school student was killed in a Monday afternoon shooting in Baton Rouge.

A woman was fatally shot Monday night in what Baton Rouge police believe was a domestic incident. Jorquisha Rose, 39, died in the shooting on Canonicus Street.

An armed suspect in a domestic violence incident Monday night was fatally shot by Warren police, the department said. Officials said the shooting happened at about 10:15 p.m. near George Merrelli Drive and Lorna Avenue west of Van Dyke and between 11 Mile and 12 Mile roads.

Isiah Smith, the third suspect sought in the investigation, turned himself in to authorities in Baton Rouge on Tuesday.

Isaiah Smith turned himself in on Tuesday after being wanted in connection with Wilson’s death, according to WBRZ.

Kyle Thurman, 25, was in West Baton Rouge police custody Monday afternoon. He's expected to be charged with felony hazing.
