AMD's Radeon RX 9070 graphics card serves up excellent performance for its price and easily outshines Nvidia's GeForce RTX 5070. (The slightly costlier RX 9070 XT is a better value, though.)

The AMD Radeon RX 9070 and RX 9070 XT graphics cards are the new mid-range champions of this generation. Both cards offer phenomenal performance while undercutting their Nvidia competition in price. They go up for sale on March 6 starting at 6am PST.

AMD has finally done it. For years it's tried to undercut NVIDIA with slightly cheaper, but less capable, video cards like the Radeon 6700 XT and 7900 XT. And sure, it's still following that same strategy with the new Radeon 9070 and 9070 XT.
